The Long Walk 2007

Thank you to everyone who joined us for The Long Walk to Dreamtime at the 'G
on Saturday, 26 May.

Over 3,000 people from across Victoria gathered at Federation Square before walking alongside Michael Long, Kyle Vander Kype, Ernie Dingo, Shane Howard, Archie Roach and Nicky Winmar on The Long Walk to the MCG!

At the MCG, 600 walkers were invited to walk right out on to the 'G to join in the pre-match celebrations. With the MCG lights off – and 600 glo sticks glowing around three campfires on the 'G - the atmosphere was electric!

Funds raised through The Long Walk to Dreamtime at the 'G in 2007 will be donated to The Sir Douglas Nicholls Fellowship for Indigenous Leadership.
