The 2007 Women' Luncheon was again a wonderful event, with some 550 Indigenous and non-Indigenous women coming together to share stories and meet new friends.  The event also raised just on $80,000 which is now to be allocated to a number of projects.  Below are the projects identified by The Long Walk Board.  More detail on some will be outlined in early 2008, after the new Long Walk Project Manager has been appointed.

$20,000 - to support (in part) The Long Walk Project Manager's salary

$5,000 - 2008 Long Walk Schools 'Long Song' program

$10,000 - 2008 Long Walk Women's Luncheon

$10,000 - 2008 Long Walk & Dreamtime at the 'G events

$30,000 - Support for young Indigenous women & men - specific pojects to be finalised in early 2008
