Register now for The Long Walk 2011
Join Michael Long and show your support for Indigenous achievement by taking part in The Long Walk 2011 on Saturday 21 May in Melbourne.
This year The Long Walk is proud to partner with the Northern Territory Government to present The Long Walk 2011 and mark the NT Centenary - 100 years of the Territory, over 50,000 years of stories.
The event starts with a community celebration at Fed Square MC’d by funny man, Kevin Kropinyeri and featuring Coloured Stone, Lady Lash, Koorioboree, Anita Heiss Q&A, Indigenous Hip Hop Projects, Koorie Night Market, Walk the Talk film screenings. The celebration reaches its peak when Michael Long rallies participants to walk from Fed Square through Birrarung Marr to the MCG. Participants can then keep the celebration going by attending Dreamtime at the ‘G (tickets through Ticketek).

7pm 600 pre-selected on-ground walkers participate in the pre-match entertainment
at Dreamtime at the ‘G.
