The Long Walk will utilize its online ecommerce facility (the website) to sell goods and services including event and fundraising merchandise including tee-shirts, music CD’s, DVDs and other event memorabilia, event ticketing and online donations.

Currency of transaction is Australian Dollars (AUD) only
*Please note that all monetary amounts are in Australian dollars and include GST where applicable


Delivery policy
Postage and Delivery Order processing timescales. For online / phone orders, Australia wide orders will be despatched within 5 working days after your order is placed.

For postal / faxed orders, Australia wide orders will be despatched within 7 working days after your order is received.

Delivery timescales
After your order is dispatched, for non express items, Australia Post estimate delivery will take 5 – 7 working (or business) days for metropolitan areas, however this often takes less time. If your address is within a non metropolitan area, Australia Post may take longer to deliver your goods.

If you select Express Post as your preferred postage method, the delivery of your goods will be 1 – 2 working (or business) days after your order is despatched.

 

Please note that your order may be sent in more than one parcel.

 

Delivery Cost
Delivery charge within Australia

For delivery within Australia, postage and handling is 15% of the goods total, with a minimum of $6.00 and a maximum of $16.00.


Delivery charge within New Zealand*

For delivery to New Zealand, postage and handling is 20% of the goods total, with a minimum of $15.00 and a maximum of $40.00.


Overseas freight charges*
Postage and handling is calculated as 15% of the goods total. For delivery overseas, outside Australia (except New Zealand), the delivery charge has a minimum charge of $40.00 and a maximum charge of $100.00. Overseas orders
We are happy to take overseas orders through the Internet. Please note that, in order to make fulfilment of overseas orders manageable, there are a few requirements:

 

1. Payment for the order must be by Visa, Mastercard or AMEX.
2. You must stipulate whether you wish the goods to be sent by airmail, economy air or seamail within the field 'special instructions'.

The information that The Long Walk Trust collects is personal information used to fulfil orders for our products and services, and to provide information requested from us. If you order using a chargecard your credit card number is stored against your order on our computer, in order to fulfil that order for you. All personal information is stored on a secure server, unable to be accessed from the internet.

The Long Walk Trust will only use the personal information you have chosen to provide us for the purpose for which you provided it. The Long Walk Trust will not use it for any other purpose without your consent. If you order any goods or services from us, we will use your name and address to send you future catalogues and offers related to our services. E-mail addresses may be used for contacting you about details of an order or notifying you of new products or sales. E-mail details will not be shared with any other organisation without your permission. You can decide not to receive these catalogues and offers at any time by contacting us, and requesting to be taken off our mailing list or e-mail contact list.

 

Cookies
Our on-line shop at www.thelongwalk.com.au uses a technology called 'cookies'. A cookie is a small amount of data that is sent to your browser from a web server and stored on your computer's hard drive to facilitate your shoppingexperience. The cookies used by us do not collect personal information and we do not combine information collected through cookies with other personal information to tell us who you are, your screen name or e-mail address. All details on the on-line order form are encrypted before sending to The Long Walk Trust, using SSL technology. When ordering using SSL you will have a message come up about Certificate Authorisation which varies depending on what browser you are using. e2commerce provides our Certificate Authorisation which means that they have authorised that we are in fact The Long Walk Trust.

 

Disclosure
There will be occasions where it will be necessary for us to disclose your personal information to third parties. For example, if you purchase products online or through our catalogues, and use a chargecard, we will need to disclose your personal information to third parties in order to receive payment and deliver your products. However, the disclosure will only be made where it is necessary to fulfil the purpose for which you disclosed your personal information. Otherwise we do not disclose personal information that you may give us, such as your name, address, email address or telephone number, to any organisation or person outside The Long Walk Trust unless you have authorised us to do so.

Returned merchandise and refund policy

DAMAGED OR UNSATISFACTORY GOODS RECEIVED
If you are not satisfied with the condition of the item received, please return the item to The Long Walk at the address below. The Long Walk will replace goods that
1. have been damaged in transit if the damage is due to the fault of The Long Walk.
2. Have a manufacturing fault
3. The Long Walk will endeavour to replace sizes if we have another size requested in stock.


WHO PAYS POSTAGE FOR RETURNS?
