What is this program?

Ganbu Gulin means One Mob in Woi Wurrung language.

Over 6– 8 weeks, Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students come together for cultural workshops, history and mindfulness sessions, and time hearing Michael Long's own story. Many arrive not knowing another Aboriginal student at their school. They leave part of something bigger.

One school found two brothers who thought they were the only Aboriginal kids on campus. They were two of twenty. That's what Ganbu Gulin does: it turns invisible into seen, and quiet into spoken.

Schools report stronger attendance, deeper engagement and real cultural pride once the program runs its course. Not because the kids were broken and got fixed. Because they were always whole, and needed the room to show it.
