The Long Walk® started with one man's decision to act. Twenty years on, it's grown into a movement, through The Long Walk, Little Long Walks, Ganbu Gulin, and the Long Lunch, among others — because organisations and communities chose to walk alongside us.

We work with partners in different ways, from event sponsorship to in-kind support to program funding. Every partnership looks different, because every partner's reasons for walking with us are different too.

Our mission is to carry Michael's 650-kilometre walk forward, through schools, communities and events that keep First Nations voices at the centre of Australia's story.
